In Pinkafeld, Austrian Burgenland I met Emphas - a few members of this ancient tribe, remaining on their land after all the years of war around the famous Emphatree. I managed to take a few photographs, even talked to them and was happy to be a witness of their traditional rituals. They are extraordinary..Emphas are the only people performing their highly performative rituals in the outside spaces thus sharing their lives with the others. They are joyful, not any dangerous, they live from teaching Empha style and giving lectures on Emphatism. Hope you meet them as well..
